What do I actually do?

I’ve been an acupuncturist since 2006. Since I have been doing acupuncture, I’ve lived a few places. Some of my family moved to NY when I started college. I returned to NY after acupuncture school to be closer to my mom after my brother died in 2011. Since I have been in NY, I have mostly treated fertility patients. Like many others, the pandemic, made me rethink a lot. The cost of living went up exponentially and rent for office space was ridiculous. I rethought everything and that led me to the study of functional/integrative medicine with Dr. Aviva Romm and to health coaching at The Chopra Institute. The functional medicine course has taught me a lot more about western medicine, understanding blood tests and what the results mean. The health coaching, since it was through The Chopra Institute, taught me new ways and a new love for meditation, as well as the art of coaching. Coaching is very powerful for helping you to make lifestyle changes. It is very different from being a practitioner. It’s not me giving advice but it’s listening to you and asking you the right questions so you know what is right for you. It’s less about me telling you what to do and more helping you to listen to your inner voice about what is right for you. I thought about going back to school to be a therapist but this is actually way better. It blends a lot of my passions. As I finish up the National Boards for health coaching , I need to do a lot of coaching sessions in July so let me know if you would like some coaching this summer for huge discounts.
